Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
√Preparation of Books of Accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
√Management of the project bank account including monthly bank reconciliation.
√Monitor expenditure against budgets; monitor cash flow and predict new trends.
√Produce accurate Cash flow as per donor requirement on timely basis.
√Prepare expenditure invoices on monthly basis and ensure timely submission to donor.
√Maintain Fixed Asset Inventory.
√Prepare budget forecasts.
√Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
√Audit financial transactions and documents.
√Comply with financial and procurement policies and regulations.
√Manages staff timesheets.

REQUIREMENTS:
√At least a bachelor’s degree in finance/accountancy from recognised Institution with minimum of three years of experience in similar field and or holder of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an added advantage.
√Experience of working with NGOs is an added advantage.
√Good experience in financial management
√Experience of overseeing project operations, procurement, and logistics; extensive experience in the development of project budgets.
√Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
√Proficiency in working with Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
√Accuracy in reporting detailed financial information.
√Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative.
√Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, partners, and professionals alike.
√Confidence in liaising with external organizations
√Ability to work under pressure, plan and priorities own workload, manage competing tasks and meet deadlines.
√Ability to maintain effective office systems.
√Ability to travel locally as required.
