DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities
√To check and clean the vehicles daily and at the start of any trip to ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.
√To ensure that necessary documentation is made for the vehicle prior to using the vehicle for any trip.
√Driving vehicles as assigned by the Operations Manager and Flight Dispatchers for dispatching and load food and dry stock products to the Customers’ aircrafts.
√Ensuring compliance to food hygiene and quality standards, including personal hygiene, temperature, food exposure time limits and proper handling and documentation.
√Perform any other Airline Catering related activities including dishwashing, airline equipment packing and tray setting during times with less driving duties as will be assigned to him by his Supervisors. This is important for making sure that the Employee make a productive use of working hours whenever on duty at work-station.
√To ensure that the appropriate levels of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety is always met.
√To promote a positive, friendly atmosphere within the refectory area, offering a welcome to staff, and visitors.
√To ensure the catering vehicle is kept clean and fully charged as required.
√ To make sure any staff working in the kitchen use a safe operation of all catering equipment.
Requirements
√At least Ordinary level of secondary school education (Form IV) or equivalent. Higher learning will be added advantage.
√Prior 3 years plus work experience in hospitality, catering or food processing industry is added advantage.
√Good command of spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
√Ability to read and interpret instructions and documents applied in his/her work according to the requirements of internal and external Customers.
√Have at least a clean Class C or E driving license.
√Behaviour demonstrating hygiene and quality sensitivity.
