Duties and responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Should be an ACTIVE sales person on the field for at least 3 years running up to 2024
- Detailed knowledge of selling Ocean freight (LCL and FCL) and Air freight Products.
- Results oriented and ambitious for future leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and transportation services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and objectives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
