DescriptionDuties/ Responsibilities
√Supporting the senior dispatch coordinator in his daily airline catering planning and scheduling.
√ Ensuring staff attendance is in accordance with shift plans.
√Ensuring airline flight orders are received in time and disseminated to relevant sections.
√ Ensuring that all relevant shifts documentation and shift reports are responded to and managed accordingly.
√ Coordinating activities within the operation department and with other departments.
√Liaison with customer for aircraft changes, stock shortages and substitute
√Liaison with supervisors regarding menu changes and gallery changes
√Liaison with other departments regarding menu changes
√Check in all the departments that menu specification for that particular airline are adhered to and that menu changes are correctly executed
√Ensure that the quality of the finished product is of high standards and meet the airline hygiene standards
√Ensure sufficient stock of equipment and products are supplied in required time to each department.
√Improve current work processes.
√Ensure correct dead heading
√Coordinate supervisors, drivers and loaders of your team on the Ramp as well as on the apron and ensure that a swift handover to the crew takes place.
√Be conversant with safety regulations on the apron
√Advice the cabin crew on equipment, packing and loading instructions, product and service changes
√Recording services rendered, alterations, customer complaints and customer feedback when necessary and report them to management
√Ensure successful execution of last-minute orders from the Airline Representative.
√Investigating operational incidents and generating reports to the operations manager in a timely manner.
√Ensuring and supervising airline supervisors and providing guidance, mentoring and grooming to assure continued work improvements.
√Providing airline supervisors with required support and ensuring they are provided with adequate support during their work execution.
Qualification
√Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any related field
√5 years plus working in a logistics and transportation company
√Good customer services skills
√Review tracking on a daily, weekly or monthly basis
√Strong leadership and team management skills.
√Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
√Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
√ Knowledge of airline operations , transportation and logistics.
√Proficiency in using customer service software and tools.
√ Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
