√Lead the development of annual marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
√Implement effective, data-driven marketing strategies to increase awareness, traffic, and sales.
√Identify new and expanded revenue opportunities through promotions, campaigns, and partnerships.
√Ensure all marketing activity delivers clear ROI, with regular reporting to management.
√Maintain and uphold Company’s established brand identity across all platforms and materials.
√Ensure consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across in-store promotions, social media, packaging, advertising, and internal communications.
√Update brand materials when necessary, with approval from senior management.
√Identify and evaluate CSR opportunities that align with the company’s brand and values.
√Research and propose relevant external events, trade fairs, expos, and community platforms for the Company to attend, participate in, or sponsor.
√Coordinate with the Company’s presence at selected external events to ensure strong brand representation and engagement.
√Plan and execute marketing initiatives across retail campaigns, product launches, loyalty programmes, and key retail periods.
√Oversee content for social media, ensuring messaging is timely, on-brand, and engaging.
√Work closely with the sales team to support promotional priorities and in-store activation plans.
√Manage the marketing team and guide their daily tasks, timelines, and priorities.
√Source and retain specialised talent (e.g. design, content, digital) to support department needs.
√Identify opportunities to grow the marketing function and secure required tools or systems.
√Manage and track the marketing budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
√Collaborate with department heads, retail managers, and the Technical Centre to align marketing with business needs.
√Routinely share strategy updates, campaign results, and relevant industry trends with internal teams.
√Champion the role of marketing across the organisation, ensuring visibility and alignment.
√Conduct regular market, competitor, and customer analysis to inform decisions.
√Monitor performance of all campaigns and channels, adjusting strategies where needed.
√Deliver monthly and quarterly reports highlighting key achievements, learnings, and next steps.
Qualifications
√Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
√Minimum of 5 years in a senior marketing role, preferably in retail or consumer products.
√Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing strategies with measurable impact
√Strong leadership with the ability to manage teams and timelines effectively.
√Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
√Commercial awareness with a keen understanding of sales-focused marketing.
√Ability to balance creativity with practicality and resource constraints.
√Proficient in digital marketing tools, social media, and campaign analytics.
