DescriptionKey Responsibilities
√Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory requirements.
√Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
√Ensure optimal utilization of human resources, machinery, and equipment.
√Directly address and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.
√Review production and operating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
√Assess and plan for future production capacity needs.
√Establish and maintain production and quality control standards.
√Ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
√Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
√Ensure all employees are adequately trained on safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
√Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering (e.g., chemical, mechanical, industrial), or a science-related discipline is highly desirable.
√Several years (8+ years) of experience in a supervisory or management role within the plastic molding industry is preferred.
√Experience in leading and managing teams, setting goals, and motivating employees is essential.
√Strong leadership skills are paramount, including the ability to motivate, delegate, and guide a team to achieve goals.
√Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are vital for interacting with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
√Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures is necessary.
√Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) can be valuable.
√Building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders is essential for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
√A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment.
