PLASTIC MANUFACTURING
DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
√ Install and repair industrial piping systems, valves, pumps, and pressure regulators supporting plastic processing machinery.
√ Conduct preventive maintenance on all plumbing lines related to water supply, compressed air, coolant, and chemical flow.
√ Diagnose and resolve issues such as leaks, pressure drops, blockages, and corrosion in production-related pipelines.
√ Interpret technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and layout blueprints to ensure correct installations and modifications.
√ Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.
√ Ensure all plumbing systems comply with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
√ Maintain a log of performed maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
√ Support infrastructure upgrades or machinery relocation projects involving utility pipework.
Qualifications:
√ Trade Certification or Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical Maintenance, or Industrial Engineering.
√ 3+ years of experience as a plumber in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
√ Hands-on experience with industrial pipefitting, welding (an advantage), and high-pressure systems.
√ Proficiency in using tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, soldering equipment, and pressure gauges.
√ Strong understanding of factory plumbing systems including cooling lines, compressed air, and drainage.
√ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency repair needs.
√ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset.
√ Familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes
√ Basic knowledge of boilers, chillers, and utility management systems.
