Description

Key Responsibilities:
√ Prepare, marinate, and grill shawarma meats (chicken, beef, lamb) to perfection.
√ Assemble shawarma wraps, platters, and sandwiches according to menu and presentation standards.
√ Make sure all ingredients are cleaned, cut, marinated, and ready for cooking before service starts, and keep the work area organized and fully stocked.
√ Monitor the cooking station, maintain high levels of hygiene, and comply with food safety guidelines.
√ Control portion sizes, reduce wastage, and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
√ Collaborate with kitchen staff and service team to ensure timely and accurate orders.
√ Assist in developing and testing new Arabian menu items.
√ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work area.

Qualifications:
√ Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Shawarma Chef or similar role in a Middle Eastern kitchen.
√ Deep understanding of Arabian spices, traditional cooking techniques, and presentation.
√ Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
√ Strong work ethic, reliability, and team spirit.
√ Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations.
√ Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
