Job Summary 

We are looking for Translator to interpret written and audio pieces of information in the Hindi Language, responsible for reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and proofreading pieces of work.

Essential Responsibilities 

• Read the given material and industry specification terminology 
• Convert text and audio recordings from Hindi to the English language 
• Ensure translated context covey original meaning and tone 
• Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation 
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy 
• Follow up with internal teams members and client to ensure translation meet the needs 
• Edit content with an eye towards maintaining its original format (ie font and structure)
• Network with field experts to stay current with a new translation

 Candidate Specifications

• Work experience as a translator, interpreter, or similar role.
• Excellent Proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors 
• Good knowledge of content editing tools 
• Familiarity with translation software 
• Time management skills 
• BSc in Translation, interpreting, or a similar field 
• Additional certification in linguistics is a plus
